Glimpses of a Glorious Past: An Informal History of The Lawrence School, Lovedale - based on the ebook of that name published by the Old Lawrencians Association during Founder's 2017- was added as a segment to the OL Assembly show in November 2020. The popularity of the segment and its potential to relay stories about the school  led to it becoming an independent online program on alumni social media channels since October 2021.

The ebook which is in three volumes covers the history of the School from 1858 to 2008.

BOOK 1: 1858 TO 1908 : GLIMPSES OF A GLORIOUS PAST

BOOK 2: 1908 TO 1958 : GLIMPSES OF A GLORIOUS PAST

Book 3: 1958 to 2008 : GLIMPSES OF A GLORIOUS PAST

Led by the editorial team of Prem Rao ’67, Wg. Cdr. Joseph Thomas ’57, Nitya Cherian Matthai ’77 (also former school archivist) and Thomas George (school staff), the publication is based on material and research from 100 years of ‘The Lawrencian,’ - the school magazine and other published books and websites. Further, the Ebook draws on contributions and reminiscences of Old Lawrencians spanning seven decades making it one of the most unique projects in the history of the school.

A blog was launched in October 2021 to supplement the ebook and online program. This caters to a greater diversity of content and provides a wider reach.

Various OLs participate in the conception, development, production and broadcasting of the online show, and the team plans to release a new episode every six to eight weeks.
